CDM has extensive experience delivering specialist scaffolding and access solutions across the highways, structures, civils and rail sectors.
We currently support highway contracts across Cheshire East and Shropshire, providing access solutions to structures throughout both networks. Our involvement with the Cheshire East highways network spans more than 20 years, reflecting the long-term relationships we aim to build with our customers.
Infrastructure work can be highly dynamic, ranging from planned maintenance and major structural works to responsive and emergency call-outs. Our experienced workforce understands the demands of working on live highways, around the public and within complex infrastructure environments, where planning, communication and health and safety are critical.
With the capability to support works 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, we work closely with our customers to respond to changing programmes, site conditions and access requirements while maintaining high standards of safety, quality and reliability.
Our experience includes highway bridges, retaining walls, rail works, temporary public access routes and complex structural access, using solutions such as independent scaffolds, suspended scaffolds, encapsulation, hangers and temporary pedestrian footpaths and bridges.
Projects have included Bronygarth Retaining Wall, Howley Suspension Bridge in Warrington, and Conway School Bridge, each requiring a tailored approach to access, logistics and the safe management of works around existing infrastructure and the public.
